Formula Dreams will be at ‘500 Milhas de Kart’
Television series on Brazilian karting will host a stand at the Interlagos go-kart track

The last weekend in January marks the start of the 2022 karting season in Brazil. The Kartódromo Ayrton Senna, in Interlagos, São Paulo, hosts the traditional 500 Milha de Kart (500 Miles of Kart) race from January 28 through 30. The competition, which will bring together almost 300 pilots, will take place on this track and, once again, will rely on the participation of great stars of the sport—such as Rubens Barrichello, Felipe Massa and Christian Fittipaldi, among others—racing laps with the amateur pilots.
In this first kart meeting of 2022, there’s nothing better than presenting fans of the sport and their families with a novelty that promises to shake the entertainment market this year. The series
Formula Dreams, which tells the behind-the-scenes story of some competitive kart racers, will host a stand at the kart track where people can learn a little more about the project and also watch some episodes projected in mini-sessions.
The production, 100% national, was fully recorded in the 2018 season and has 10 episodes of 26 minutes each. Focusing on teenagers and children, each chapter uses the background of the competitions to show the joys, anxieties, celebrations and frustrations of the competitors, their teams and their families.
Creator of the series and showrunner of
Formula Dreams, Nick Story, will be in Interlagos to personally present the content to interested parties. “The 500 Miles of Kart is a very important event for national karting and, for that reason, it will be the first opportunity to have
Formula Dreams directly previewed by the karting community and their families. My team and I will be ready to show some excerpts from the episodes, explain the format and purpose of the series and, finally, we will also present the pre-script for our second season,” commented the businessman and executive producer of Story Productions.
It should be noted that
Formula Dreams was the only Brazilian production awarded at the SPORTEL 2021 Awards. The event, the world’s leading convention for the sports content creation industry, was held in Monaco in October.
