Synopsis

From the day we are born, in the arena chosen by our parents, we fight for our place in this world.


At one of the main karting championships in Brazil, the São Paulo Cup in Granja

Viana, a group of feisty children between 8 and 12 years old are growing up in the fast lane of competitive karting.


Heitor, Antonella, Wagner, Gabriel, and Murilo all share a dream: to be Brazil’s next Formula 1 star. For now, their sights are set on being crowned champion of the São Paulo Cup.

Heitor Farias, 8 years old, lives with his guardians in a motorhome next to the race track, to stay focused on his career. Gabriel Koenigkan, 8 years old, Heitor’s rival, has to conquer his nerves before each race. Antonella Bassani, 12 years old, has to fight for her place in a boy’s world. Wagner Santilli, 9 years old, the underdog of the group, deals with the frustration of being Heitor's sidekick. And Murilo Rocha, 8 years old, the unoicial mascot of the group, is steadily making his presence felt on the track and will challenge them all.

From a children’s point of view, we will be witnessing the adrenaline rush of victory, the valleys of defeat, the pressure to win, the rivalry, the risks, the friendship and games: bit by bit, the rich tapestry of the karting world is revealed, from the children’s points of view, as they face adult challenges.

EP 01

The São Paulo Karting Championship in Granja Viana Kicks off. Heitor, Antonella, Gabriel, and Wagner put the pedal to the metal in their fight to become the next racing champions

Competing at this level has its ups and downs, and Heitor suffers a setback on the tracks. Antonella needs to get to grips with her new tires and improve her times. Gabriel learns the price of rivalry the hard way.

The drivers warm up their engines and the tension heats up when Heitor and Wagner fall out, both on and off the track. Antonella wants to celebrate her birthday, but a series of unwelcoming surprises during the championship look set to spoil her party
